Duration of the Course:
Duration of the Course shall be three years from the date of commencement of the course. All candidates should complete 3 years from their date of joining.
Eligibility for admission:
Nativity: Applicants should have satisfied any of the following conditions.
- Indian Citizens of Kerala origin.
- Have been residing in Kerala for a period of not less than 8 years
- Have passed the MBBS Degree/PG Degree(MD/MS)/Dip.N.B from any of the Medical Colleges in Kerala.
Basic Academic Qualifications:
- M.B.B.S. Degree
- Appropriate Post Graduate Degree (M.D/. M.S) of the Universities in Kerala or any other University recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto OR appropriate Diploma of National Board (Dip.N.B).
Note 1 : Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the MD/MS examination can also apply and they should produce the PG Degree certificate at the time of counseling.
* For applying Surgical Super Speciality (M.Ch) Courses, the candidate should have PG Degree/Dip.NB in General Surgery and for Medical Super Speciality (DM) Courses, the candidate should have PG Degree/Dip.NB either in General Medicine or Paediatrics.
